| Ignore my older posts. I've found out that my other donwloaded files have the seed in them. However, the one I desperately need doesn't. I guess that means I must've edited them at some point, which I haven't, I just copied the file. Any way to fix this? I really need it. |

| If the file is old, it may not have the seed embedded (it was something I added one or two years ago). And I'm sorry to say that I don't know any way of retrieving the seed from the image other than trying seeds one at a time. The offline program has a facility to automate such searches, but it is extremely slow and requires you to manually make a low-resolution world map in ASCII-graphics. See the manual for details. |
