Hi there. I downloaded your generator, and I immediately fell in love. It did icosahedral projections, which makes easy hex grids, and you could zoom for extra precision! it seemed like a dream come true. However, when I zoomed on the top left triangle using -l and -L, the land was warped - coming in at a different angle, which would ruin my hex grids. Mildly disappointed, I decided to go with a really big image instead, but now I've ended up with a 2.4 GB bitmap that even my loyal python modules refuse to open. So my question: is there a way to zoom in on the icosahedral map without distorting the initial outlook? |

There is an error in the icosahedral projection that makes the map not quite line up at the trisngle edges. I have tried to locate the problem, but I have not been able to get a perfect alignment. I may look at it again later. |
