| Good day, I am trying to find the seed to a BMP file I generated last year. I still have the original file. Is there an email where I can send the file to extract the seed from? I am on mobile, and so I cannot go through the process of running any commands to extract file metadata, and there are no websites which give me the needed info. Thank you. |

| The seed and other parameters are added after the bitmap data in the BMP file, as a separate text line. If you can open the file with a simple text editor (not Word or similar), you can scroll to the bottom and see this. If this fails, email the file to me (torbenm@di.ku.dk), and I can send you the parameters back. In the future, I suggest you take a screenshot of the webpage when you have a map you want to return to. |
