| Since I think the generator uses Earth(?) as a frame of reference for biome, is there real world measurements for both water and land? How deep is the ocean and how tall is the mountain? |

| For historical reasons, altitude is represented in the program as a number between -0.1 and +0.1 (yeah, those are rather silly values). So the deepest possible sea is -0.1 and the highest possible mountain is +0.1. A rough estimate would be 0.1 = 10 000 meters, as mountains rarely reach the maximum value. The program does not generate trenches like the Mariana trench, so deepest sea being -10 000 meters doesn't seem too bad. |
