| the current one is (in my opinion) pretty undersaturated and hard to distinguish between different biomes... I think this one used by climatesim: https://space.geometrian.com/calcs/climate-sim.php might be better? it's easy to change in the code, and maybe an option to switch between the two color scheme would be nice |

| The colour scheme that you link to has only 9 different biomes, where the one used in the planet generator has 11. Adding two more colours would likely make it equally difficult to distinguish biomes in the other scheme. But I have considered loading biome colour schemes from a file, like I do with the normal map colours. |
