| Hi all! I'm a worldbuilder and I'm currently working on a mostly volcanic planet, for those of you who regularly use Planet Map Generator, do any of you know a good way to make only the land appear scorched or volcanic? and if not, is there any potential it could become an option in the generation of the map? - Where the land is black or grey with patches of molten red? |

| You can get some of the way by defining a new colour map. It will not give you streams or pools of molten lava, though -- the colours depend solely on altitude (with an option for shifting the colours by latitude), so, at best, you can get bands of red or red mountain tops. An alternative is to post process the image generated by the program. |
