Troll already does so much (and SO well), I would hate to add unnecessary bells and whistles; but I do have 2 things that popped into my head that might be helpful and/or useful.

1) Graphing 2 or more functions. comparing different sets of die rolls is something that happens quite often, and it might be handy to be able to see a composite of multiple functions on the screen together. I'm speaking specifically about the probability graph portion (it would be harder to show multiple sets of the numeric column readouts; although perhaps theres room for a few more columns on the other side of the graph) Seeing how 3D12 compares graphically to 5D5+2 might be a helpful thing to provide some quick insights into the relationship between them. I have ideas on how you could implement it, but I'm sure you could do it quite well on your own.

2) A handy way to export either the results page as a PDF; or atleast making the columns of data exportable for easy use in a spreadsheet or the like.

I think either of those might be useful to people without watering down a VERY nice site; let me know what you think and thanks for great tool.

Hi Reg,

I have considered improving the graphing possibilities, but I'm fairly busy with teaching at the moment, so it will be a while before I get the time.

The offline version of Troll outputs the results as plain text, so it should be possible to read it into another program. It would not be difficult to modify the program to output a comma-separated file, which I believe spreadsheets can read.  But, again, it will have to wait until I get more time.
