| Is there any way to make the map generation have less snow. Every time it seems like half the planet is arctic. I'm also curious if there is a way to remove the landmasses at the poles? |

| If you chose the "no" option for "colour depends on latitude", you should get no icy polar caps, unless there are high mountains at the poles. As for landmasses at the poles, it is random if there are such or not. There is no way to remove or add individual land masses, but you can lower all land masses simultaneously by lowering the "water line" value. Generally, I just repeat generating random maps until I find something interesting, and then fine-adjust the parameters after that. |
