Location: DIKU, Universitetsparken 1, Copenhagen,
Room N213
BackgroundStarting with the establishment of the NEXT Project in 2001, the Copenhagen area has seen increasing research, development and teaching activities, ranging from enterprise modeling to core technologies (including algorithmic and semantic methods) aimed at developing the next generation of enterprise systems. This workshop is the first in a series of open workshops aimed at presenting ideas, challenges and ongoing research in this area. Its purpose is to inform about relevant results and activities across targeted research projects and to facilitate networking amongst university faculty, industry practitioners, and students at all levels (Ph.D., M.S. and B.S.) with a view towards initiating projects, study groups or similar within this area. Students are especially encouraged to attend to get acquainted with topics, people and possibilities for conducting a Bachelor's thesis (bachelorprojekt), Master's thesis (speciale) or other projects.
